Tripl Accessibility

Tripl should work for everyone at the board. Every common task, from setting up your profile and starting a match to scoring X01, Cricket and Killer, stats and share cards, training drills, groups and nights, purchases and settings, works with the accessibility features below. On Apple Watch, so do following a match and scoring from your wrist.

iPhone

  • VoiceOver. Every control has a spoken name and every screen reads in a sensible order. You can score a visit on the keypad, answer the checkout question, undo, and use every training drill without looking at the board.
  • Voice Control. Controls are named by the words you see, so you can say "Tap New match", "Tap Enter" or "Tap Undo" and score a whole match by voice.
  • Larger Text. Text follows your text-size setting, including the larger accessibility sizes. Screens scroll instead of cutting text off, and small fixed-size controls, such as the keypad keys, show a large preview when you touch and hold them.
  • Sufficient Contrast. Text and controls meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio (4.5:1 for text) in light and dark appearance.
  • Reduced Motion. With Reduce Motion on, the celebrations for a 180, a big checkout or a won leg or match show as a still card that fades in and out, and other animations are reduced.
  • Differentiate Without Color. Nothing relies on colour alone: results, charts and states are also shown by shape and in words, for example filled and hollow marks for won and lost legs.
  • Dark Interface. Tripl follows your device's dark appearance on every screen, including share cards.

Apple Watch

  • VoiceOver. The score readout is adjustable: swipe up or down to set your visit total, double-tap to enter it, and undo from the actions.
  • Larger Text. Captions, hints, lists and icons grow with your watch's text size. The large score numerals keep a fixed size so they always fit the screen.
  • Sufficient Contrast. Text and controls are high-contrast on the watch's dark background.
  • Reduced Motion. Animations are reduced when Reduce Motion is on.
  • Differentiate Without Color. States are shown in words, not only by colour, for example a total that needs a double to start.
  • Dark Interface. The watch app is dark.

Captions and Audio Descriptions

Tripl has no video or audio content, so captions and audio descriptions don't apply.
