How do I water a plant?

Tap it once. Press and hold for more: the minimum version, a note, or undo.

What is the minimum version?

Every habit has a small version, like one push-up instead of ten. On days you only manage the small version, it still counts, and it shows faintly on the plant's map.

What happens if I miss a day?

The plant gets a little thirsty. The first miss in a row barely shows. Plants never die, their size is never taken away, and coming back after a break is quicker than fading.

Can I pause for a holiday or a sick day?

Yes. Tap the umbrella icon at the top right of the garden to Cover the garden. While it's covered, plants don't get thirsty. Tap it again to uncover it when you're back.

How do shared gardens work?

To start one, tap + at the top right of the garden and choose a new shared garden (this needs Filiy Pro). Inside a shared garden, tap the people icon at the top to Invite someone or to Leave the garden; the person who created it sees Close instead. A shared plant blooms only when everyone waters it, and Filiy never shows who didn't. Joining a garden you're invited to is free.

Can a plant water itself?

Yes, for free. A plant can water itself from Apple Health (you pick the metric and the amount) or when you arrive at a place you choose. You can also water with Shortcuts or Siri. Health values and places never leave your iPhone.

Does Filiy sync between my devices? What about a new iPhone?

If iCloud is on, your garden is kept in your own iCloud, so it comes back when you sign in on a new iPhone and install Filiy.

How do I export or delete my data?

In the You tab: Export gives you all your data as a JSON file, free. Delete everything removes Filiy's data from your iPhone and your iCloud. It can't be undone, so export first if you might want it later.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Filiy Pro with.

How do I cancel Filiy Pro?

In iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Filiy. If Pro ends, every plant stays and keeps working.

Privacy

Filiy has no account and no servers. Read the privacy policy and the terms of use.
