Meshin Support
Something not working, or a question we haven't answered here? Write to support@1801labs.com. Please include your iPhone model and iOS version, or your browser if you use the web app.
Do players need the app?
No. Every player can join from the link the organiser shares, in any browser, at meshin.1801labs.com: sign in, say you're in, see the teams, confirm the score, rate and see your card. The iPhone app adds notifications.
How do I sign in?
There are no passwords. Enter your email and tap Send me a link, then open the link we send you; it works once, for 15 minutes. In the iPhone app you can also tap Continue with Apple. To use the same account everywhere, add your methods in the iPhone app under Sign-in methods in the You tab, with Link Apple or Link an email.
Why does Meshin ask for my year of birth?
Meshin is for ages 16 and up. If you're under 16, no account is created and nothing is kept.
How do I join a match?
Open the match link and tap I'm in. If the match is full, you go on the waitlist and move up automatically when someone drops out. Changed your mind? Tap Can't make it.
The organiser added me as a player. How do I get those matches?
Ask the organiser for the claim link. Open it, check the name under Are you …? and tap Yes, that's me: those matches move to your account.
How are the teams picked?
The organiser or a coach taps Pick teams, chooses who plays and taps Balance. Keepers are split, defenders spread, and you can keep two players apart with Not together. A player can be dragged to the other side to swap. Announce teams shows them on every phone at the same moment.
How does the score count?
After kick-off, the organiser or a coach enters the score with Send score. The players who played answer Yes or No. It counts when more than half of the registered players who played say yes within 48 hours. If as many say no, it goes back to the organiser. Without enough answers it stays Unconfirmed and doesn't change any card.
How do ratings and cards work?
When the score is confirmed, tap Rate the players. Ratings go from 0 to 100, are optional (Skip) and anonymous: nobody ever sees who gave what. Everyone starts at 65. The number appears on your card after 3 rated matches; until then it says New. A card moves by at most 5 points per match, and with 5 or more ratings the highest and lowest are left out.
How do I add or remove my photo?
In You, tap Add photo, fit it to your card and tap Use this, then I agree, upload. While it's being checked, your card shows Checking. Only players who share a crew, match, team or league with you can see it. Remove photo deletes it from our server.
How do I report a photo?
In the iPhone app, touch and hold the player in the match and choose Report photo, then a reason. The photo is hidden at once until we review it. On the web, write to us with the crew and the player's nickname.
How do I report a person or a name?
Write to support@1801labs.com with the crew or team and the nickname. We review every report.
How do I block someone?
In Discover, choose Block on their row. You won't see each other in Discover, invites or photos. To undo it, go to You → Blocked and tap Unblock.
How do I show up in Discover, or stop?
Open Discover and set it up under Show up in Discover: turn on Looking for a game, tap Find my district in the iPhone app or type Your area on the web, choose When can you play and tap Save. Only your district shows, never your location. To stop, open Settings in Discover, turn off Looking for a game, confirm your district and tap Save. If there aren't enough players nearby yet, Discover asks you to share your crew instead.
How do players pay me?
In the match, tap Add your payment details and choose IBAN, Pix, Alias / CVU, PayPal, Revolut, Bizum or a payment link. Players in your matches see them under Payment details and tap Copy. Money never goes through Meshin; you mark who has paid.
How do I leave a crew?
Write to support@1801labs.com with the crew's name, and we will take you out of it. Your past matches stay in the crew's history.
What is Group Pro?
Group Pro is for organisers, per crew: more than one crew, matches that repeat every week, several "not together" pairs, your crew's crest instead of the watermark on share images, crew data as CSV, and teams, friendlies and leagues. In the iPhone app, tap Go Pro next to a crew you run in You, and choose Monthly or Yearly. Players never need to pay. With Split Pro into the match fee, the cost can show as a share of the match fee.
How do I restore or cancel Group Pro?
To restore, open the Group Pro screen and tap Restore purchases, with the same Apple Account you bought it with. To cancel, go to iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Meshin. Group Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
I don't get notifications. What should I check?
Notifications come from the iPhone app. In iOS Settings → Notifications → Meshin, allow notifications. The web app doesn't send notifications.
How do I get a copy of my data?
In You, tap Download my data. It includes your profile, card, matches and crews. Rating values are never included, not even yours.
How do I delete my account?
You → Settings → Delete account, then confirm with Delete account, in the app or on the web. Your profile, photo and sessions are deleted right away, and you show as "former player" in past matches. If you organise a crew with Group Pro, cancel the subscription with Apple first: deleting your account doesn't cancel it.
