Igni
In developmentIgni: A daily check-in for people who live alone.
Light your fire once a day with a short hold. If you go quiet past your time, Igni lets the people you chose know. Igni is not an emergency service.
What it does
Light your fire
Once a day, hold the button for a moment: the torch comes closer, the brushwood catches, and your fire burns for the day. You can also light it from a notification, a widget, Control Center or a Shortcut.
Who should hear from you?
Choose the people who should know, and send each one an invite. Nobody gets an alert until they accept it in the app. Either of you can end it at any time.
If you go quiet
At your daily time Igni reminds you, and again an hour later. If your fire is still dark when your grace period ends, the people in your circle are told. One hold sends them "all good" right away.
Delivered, then seen
When they're told, you see it arrive on their tower, and then that they've seen it. They can send you a ♥ when they see your fire.
Fires on both sides
Two people who both live alone can make it mutual: each sees the other's fire on their own hills. Watching someone's fire is always free.
Away mode
Travelling? Cover your fire for a date range. No alerts go out, and your circle gets one note that you're away.
